McDonalds Golden Arches Crush Trailblazer

A retired couple was seriously injured in a McDonalds parking lot when the restaurant's famous golden arches fell and crushed their Chevy Trailblazer. And all this time you thought the McGriddle would kill you.

The pair were returning from their Tucson winter home to Chicago when they visited the McDonalds in Window Rock, on the Navajo Nation reservation, when high winds topping 60 MPH brought the sign down. Russell and Carolyn Janke had to be cut from the SUV by emergency workers and immediately sent to the hospital where Mrs. Janke is in serious condition with a fractured spinal column.
