This is a solar powered catamaran. It's currently (I made a pun!!) attempting to cross the Atlantic on solar power only, looks like it'll make it.



Built to prove it could be done, it cruises at 3-4 knots, supplying all it's power from huge battery banks charged from it's "roof" of solar panels. Cool idea.
