Here's an interesting idea, a rear view monitor instead of your rearview mirror. With the proliferation of rear facing cameras, this is an idea the I think would fly here in SUV land. You'd get a bigger field of view, less blind spots. The downsides...A mirror doesn't require power, and you KNOW it'll be hacked to play movies and games in lieu of actually displaying vital info to the driver while driving.
