So, the new Lotus Elise is a really light car, designed to handle well. As such, it goes through tires more than other cars, as spirited driving and sticky rubber don't last long.

There's a problem, though. There is a jack point on the cars, designed to lift ONE side at a time, to enable tire changes.

However, if you use this jack point as a lift point on a four point lift, the car is very unbalanced. Simply removing the front wheels.... well, you see.

The approved 4 pt. lift point is actually almost under the engine on the little thing, something that's IN THE MANUAL this guy left with the shop.

The shop also probably damaged the front end by strapping it up around the front suspension, not the approved way. Nice work, guys.

The whole story is here, if you want.
