Man pinned by 10,000-lb. microscope
COLUMBIA TUSCULUM – A 25-year-old man is in serious condition at University Hospital after a nearly 10,000-pound electron microscope fell on him late this morning, pinning him to the ground, according to Cincinnati firefighters.
Twenty-five firefighters quickly worked to save the man, whose name has not been released, said District Chief Jay Boeing.
The man was pinned under the microscope on the loading dock at the Taft North building of the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health.
The man was working for Gano Welding, an Illinois Company which bought the microscope and was getting ready to move it.

Hopefully this investigation will be placed under the microscope... They've always said it's hard to live under the microscope... Police are trying to stay focused and objective... I could keep going. I won't, though.
