Ever since I posted the "tankgrip" story below, I've had an itch in my mind.... I knew I'd seen the idea before, in a much more affordable package. Finally found it.

This is called the X-tra bar from Firespeedracing.com. Basically some mountain bike bar ends on a couple of posts attached to the gas cap ring.

No pricing on the site, but it's got to be less than the custom formed carbon fibre layup Tankgrip's selling.
