So I'm bored, looking up online motorcycle magazines. I type in http://www.motorcyclist.com/, and I get a plain site with the following pic front and center....
Seems this guy has registered the domain name, and is sticking with it because Peterson Publishing tried to underhandedly get control of the domain. Here's his story...
Score one for the little guy.
P.S., one of the newer online motorcycle magazines has the unfortunate name of Rubbermag.com/, but it has some decent content.

" Whether you call it "crooked", "reverse domain name hijacking", "domain hijacking" or just plain old-fashioned "theft", the attempt to steal our www.motorcyclist.com web domain by Peterson Publishing aka Emap aka Primedia Inc. (NYSE:PRM - news) was a clumsy and ill-conceived blunder from the very beginning.
I was sitting here at my desk just before Christmas in December 2000 when the mail lady drove up and honked for me to sign a registered letter. I signed the receipt for the thick envelope and nearly dropped it when I read what was inside.
CEASE AND DESIST ! the document ordered in ultra-bold print and I couldn't figure out what I had done to "desist" from ! Well.........to make a very long story shorter......I hadn't done ANYTHING wrong. What I later learned was that my legitimate domain registration was under attack by a big-money publishing outfit that simply wanted to take it from me by force.
These ill-mannered gentlemen didn't even have the sense to call me and ASK if I would give it to them ! (which I might actually have done if they had just been honest about their plans and simply offered me free subscriptions or something........My livelihood certainly doesn't depend on hosting this free motorcycle enthusiast's website)
I looked long and hard for a good lawyer to defend our case and found just such a fellow in one John Berryhill, Esq. He's a very funny, reasonably priced, and more importantly, very competent and web-savvy intellectual property attorney who made MINCEMEAT out of the high-priced buffoons retained by EMAP.
If you reach this page by web searching for words like domain-name hijacking, web attorney, domain theft, domain attorney, domain lawyer, WIPO defense, ICANN problem, legal problem, or other means, you can rest assured that you have found your BEST answer to your domain-name hijacking legal defense in hiring John.
