At long last, I received a disc with the last of the 3guy,2country,10day,5 National park bike trip I did way back... if you missed it it's back in the archives. Scroll down to the bottom right of this page, click on the August 2007 link, then scroll down that page until you reach the post dated Aug 10th. Hope you have some time, it's a long one. Go ahead, I'll wait.

Enjoy? Yeah, me too.

Here's the final installment...

Before the rain, feeling frisky. Strike a pose....
It's a good thing monitors can't convey smells. Trust me. Those are saturated leather boots on a heater that were the marinating containers for six feet for a full day of rain. That haze in the air is not a photoshopped effect.

Emerald Lake, B.C.
The boys at Emerald Lake...
Dusk in Banff....
You knew there would be at least one gratuitous bike shot in here somewhere, right? My wife actually laughs at me, as there's many shots like this on all my trips. " Here's the bike in front of a tristy road!".. " And this one is the bike in front of a river!" ETC. Etc.... Ride? Then you do it too. Admit it.
Big sky, beautiful mountains, NO traffic, a radar detector, no itinerary, and a fast bike with a full tank of gas. Life is good.
The boys in Glacier National park...
The top. All downhill from here.
Cold, green, tumbling river...
Pretty...
Post Head-dunk...
Yellowstone group pic...
The fun boys of Montana, thanks for the escort over Lolo pass, guys.
End of the trip. Until next year. Who's in?
These pics were all taken by the CBR 600 rider. Nice work. Now, if you look down, there's the "high speed" video I've been talking about. I was thinking of putting some music on it, but I think you'll agree that the exhaust pipe makes some decent music all on it's own. I call it the "screaming Doppler sonata". P.S. Do not attempt to replicate anything you see in the following clip. It was done by a professional rider and camera crew on a closed course...wait. no, it didn't really happen at all. This is all CGI. All video was sped up in post production.
