So, last weekend I went to check something out.....

Here in Seattle, there surprisingly few areas to mountainbike. I originally moved here thinking it was a mecca, but you have to drive at least 30 mins out of the city to find a decent trail. That's changing. They are rejuvenating an area under the I-5 expressway, an elevated, 10 lane wide monster running through the city. A local bike club is working on reclaiming the area from the homeless and junkies/dealers, building a cool little trail under the bridge.

Even a few bridges and logs to play on...

All tucked away from the rain. Time will tell if it works. They're about 1/2 finished, but already it's generating a buzz amongst bikers.
