Was reading a travel magazine recently, they were interviewing a guy who travels frequently on business internationally, gleaning info on clever workarounds to the many potential pitfalls of nonstop globetrotting. To avoid the dreaded "Delhi belly", he suggested doing what he does...carry baby food with you. Doesn't spoil, lots of calories, convenient packaging. He confessed to scarfing down 2-3 jars before a big business dinner meeting, then simply moving the food on his plate around as the evening progressed. Not a bad idea, but I wonder if the airlines would now confiscate it as being a potentially explosive substance.
To jump off topic, does anyone else think we've stepped right over the line of individual freedom v.s. the illusion of safety? There's a quote out there, goes something like, " Those who would sacrifice freedom for security deserve neither." Apt.
