I have no story with these pics, only know what I've read from a blow-up of the plaque. Paraphrasing.... Smokey Yunick built this sidecar for the 1964 Indy 500, it was designed to weight the inside tires. It crashed during it's first qualifying attempt and was never raced again. Motor was a 4 cyl Offenhauser displacing 252 cubic inches.

I like the idea, only I'd put another capsule on the right side so I could haul around a passenger.
